Stone House
New Extension & Renovation
Client: Private
Completion: 2018

An early 19th Century two-storey house was completely renovated and extended.

An extension was added as a "plug-in" to the house to create a new entrance, circulation and services. This allowed the original structure to operate more freely as the main living and bedroom accommodation.

The extension is deliberately differentiated from the original house by the use of charred larch as a wall cladding material.
